Daily Blog #789: Things not to do when creating test clouds part 3

Hello Reader,

I wanted to wrap up this series by sharing something surprising that actually worked.

While cloud providers are very cautious about IP ranges and phone numbers, they seem completely fine with someone else paying the bill. For example, after jumping through multiple hoops to set up my fictional company with cleverly named employees, the providers didn't mind that the credit card used for billing was under my real name.

I suppose this makes sense, since it's common for an IT professional to set things up while finance handles payment. Still, I found this amusing.

So, even if you encounter challenges creating a fake company on cloud platforms, you certainly won't have any trouble paying for it!
